Montreal (NewsTechno) – The international Consumer Electronics Show 2012 at Las Vegas, Nevada is considered the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow to date. This is also the venue for some of Microsoft’s handset partners to reveal their hardware for the Window’s Phone operating system.
Tradeshows and trade fairs are places where you can find the best among the rest. So, what is the best Windows Phone at the CES 2012? With the success of the Android handsets, smartphone manufacture’s like Samsung were quite hesitant to adapt the Windows Phone. But Nokia and HTC are showcasing new products to for this amazing technology.
HTC proudly unveiled its Titan II. It has a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. It has a superb 1.5GHz Snapdragon 2 processor for a 720p high definition recording and its large 4.7 screen.
Nokia, on the other hand, introduced Lumina 900, the first US specific Windows Phone. This device has support for AT&T’s 4G LTE network. It has a rear-facing Carl Zeiss optics camera with an F2.2 aperture lens with a 28mm focal length plus a front-facing camera. 16 GB internal memory and a 4.3 in screen are just some of the other amazing features.
There are contrasting views over which device is the clear winner. Some were impressed at how large the Titan II was while others just wanted the Lumina 900 that just fit in the palm of their hands. The cameras of both devices were all equally impressive but the Lumina 900 boasts of Carl Zeiss optics that clearly means better images and more high quality stills. Nokia has been known to integrate superior camera technology in its devices.
Considering that the Lumina 900 is running on an AT&T network, many are confused if they need to switch providers upon the purchase of this device. This is of course the case but consider making consumer research on AT&T’s reputation as a network provider and if you think that their service could work for you then make the switch.
It could be a tough choice on whether the Titan II or the Lumina 900 wins but most consumers are definitely holding on to their wallets for other Windows Phones on Verizon and other network providers.
