Applications are invited in the prescribed form from the candidates who are qualified as on the last date prescribed for receipt of filled in applications, for filling up of the following Backlog teaching and Non-teaching posts in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.

Professor    02
Qualification: Ph.D. in the concerned subject. An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in Teaching and/or experience in Research/Extension at University/ National level Institutions.
Pay: 37,400 – 67,000+ 10,000 AGP.
Associate Professor    07
Qualification: Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.A minimum of eight years of experience of Teaching/Research/ Extension in an academic/research position equivalent to that of
Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with evidence of published work and a minimum of
5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers, of which at least three papers in NAAS rated/Refereed journals in the previous cadre.
Pay: 37,400 – 67,000+ 9,000 AGP.
Fee: Application fee of Rs.250/- for Assistant Professor cadre. A Xerox copy of the Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority should be produced along with the Bank Demand Draft. Application form for Stenographer (Non-teaching) post may be obtained in person on payment of the prescribed fee in the form of demand draft in favour of the Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore and also be obtained by post by sending the requisite Demand Draft with self addressed envelope.
How To Apply: Filled in applications together with allied enclosures should be submitted in an envelope, super scribing on it, “Application For The Post of_____” to The Administrative Officer, University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore – 560 065 on or before 17-01-2013. The filled in applications must accompany the prescribed fee in the form of Bank Demand Draft in favour of the Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore.
